The Full Day is Full

If they say we did "nothing" it may be true!!! We spent a lot of time with expectations, more than I would have liked...

But we also read some books that related to Being Safe (David Goes to School) and did a sorting activity, and made connections to our own lives (The Night Before First Grade).

We wrote about how we were feeling.

We learned a tiny bit about what reading means in first grade.

Lunch. Recess. And then lots of water.

It was fun showing them the year-long calendar and thinking about all that will happen in the next 10 months.

Dismissal was crazy (as always), and every one got to the right place!!!

Overall, the day was a HUGE SUCCESS. See you on Monday!!!
